Best Selling Author - Historian

After co-presenting on Curtis and the Native Americans Indians with Paul Unks of Mountain Hawk Fine Art, New York Times best- selling author and historian, Margaret Coel commissioned Mountain Hawk to make an extra-large sepia print of the Plains Indians for her Colorado mountain home.  Margaret Coel is an American history scholar, known for her award winning Wind River Mystery series that incorporates Edward Curtis’ work he did with the Arapaho Indians. She remarked, “The Mountain Hawk prints of Native American images from the Edward Curtis’ collection are faithfully done. It is obvious Paul has a great love and respect for Curtis’ landmark work and for the American Indians.”
